Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive IT support and internal services for the City of Grimmen. As an IT Systems and Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of client-server infrastructure, overseeing user helpdesk operations (First-Level Support), and maintaining online services. Beyond technical IT tasks, the position includes administrative duties such as the procurement of office equipment, managing the administrative library and archives, and handling official public announcements. You will work within the local government framework to ensure smooth digital and physical operations. Required Skills
Education
Successful completion of vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or Digital Networking, Information Technology Assistant, IT Systems Management Assistant, or equivalent qualifications. Microsoft certification in Client-Server Infrastructure, Domain Controller, or Active Directory is required.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT management, preferably within municipal or public administration environments
- Practical experience in building and managing client-server infrastructures
- Experience in hardware and software maintenance including office communication technology
- Demonstrated experience in structured, independent, and careful work methodologies
