Job Summary
As a Process Technology Service Technician, you will be responsible for the electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of gas-powered drying systems. Your daily activities involve reading circuit diagrams, monitoring the installation of measurement, control, and regulation (MSR) technology, and troubleshooting technical faults. You will work independently to resolve error messages and complete remaining technical tasks on-site. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy variety and travel, as it requires extensive travel throughout Germany and occasionally worldwide. The position offers a high level of autonomy and the chance to work with complex industrial machinery. To succeed, you must be comfortable working at heights and possess a customer-oriented mindset, ensuring professional communication with clients during field service assignments.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Power Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or Electrical Installer (or equivalent)
Experience
- Professional experience in control technology and switchgear cabinet construction
- Experience in electrical commissioning and maintenance of industrial plants
- Proven ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
- Experience in field service and customer-facing technical support

- Valid Class B driver's license required; Must be comfortable working at heights (schwindelfrei); Willingness to travel extensively within Germany and occasionally worldwide; Willingness to work weekends when necessary.
