Job Summary
This role serves as the central motor for developing a safe and attractive bicycle network within the Alb-Donau district. As a Project Coordinator, you will act as the official hub for implementing the Baden-Württemberg cycling strategy and the national cycling plan. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing technical advice to cities and municipalities regarding bicycle path routing, assisting local authorities in securing funding for infrastructure, and leading a round table on traffic safety. Additionally, you will organize the annual 'STADTRADELN' event. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy interdisciplinary work at the intersection of public administration and urban planning. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Public Management, Geography, Infrastructure Management, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in traffic planning and the maintenance of bicycle paths
- Experience in managing public administrative processes and general administrative law
- Proven experience in consulting and supporting municipal stakeholders
- Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) such as ArcGIS
- Experience in organizing large-scale community events or coordination projects
