Job Summary

As a Project Manager in Energy Technology, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of complex energy infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on protection and control technology. Your daily responsibilities include creating project profiles, developing safety concepts for plant operations, and conducting variant comparisons with stakeholders. You will lead the preparation of tender documents, manage external service providers, and oversee project timelines and budgets using SAP and MS Project. A significant portion of the role involves technical quality assurance, including checking circuit diagrams, supervising construction sites, and leading commissioning activities. This position is particularly attractive due to its high level of autonomy and the opportunity to work on large-scale grid or power plant projects within a permanent employment contract. You will act as a central interface between grid operators, partners, and customers, ensuring that all technical regulations and quality standards are strictly maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Energy Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in project management for energy technology systems
  • Proven experience in the coordination of complex projects, preferably in power plant, network, or plant construction
  • Practical experience in protection and control technology as well as general systems engineering
  • Experience in managing external service providers and participating in procurement processes
