Job Summary
The Hanseatic City of Wipperfürth is seeking a Civil Engineer or Architect to join the Lower Building Authority. In this role, you will be responsible for the independent processing and examination of building applications and preliminary inquiries, ensuring compliance with planning and building regulations. Your daily tasks will include providing expert advice on building law, conducting fire protection assessments, and performing recurring inspections in accordance with state regulations (PrüfVO NRW). You will also participate in site inspections for complex construction projects and draft official statements for planning procedures. Education
Successfully completed degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Architecture or Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering/Building Construction).
Experience
- Professional experience in assessing building projects regarding planning and building law admissibility is desirable
- Experience in handling building permit applications and preliminary inquiries
- Experience using ProBauG software is preferred
- Proven ability in independent problem-solving and negotiation within a professional context

- Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to use private vehicle for official business (with mileage reimbursement) is required. Must be available for full-time work in Wipperfürth.
