Job Summary
This full-time role with the Municipality of Walkenried focuses on modernizing local government administration through digital transformation. As the Digitalization and Committee Services Officer, you will lead the implementation of digital services in accordance with the Online Access Act (OZG) and develop a sustainable digitalization strategy. Your day-to-day responsibilities include acting as the central point of contact for IT equipment, coordinating with external IT service providers, and supporting colleagues with technical issues. Additionally, you will serve as the Data Protection Coordinator and manage the administrative logistics for council and committee meetings, including the use of the 'More Rubin' information system and processing expense allowances. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a blend of technical project management, legal compliance, and organizational administration. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r), Administrative Course I (Verwaltungslehrgang I), or a 3-year commercial vocational training. Career changers with strong IT affinity are also considered.
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration or a closely related field
- Experience in digitalization projects or IT-related administrative tasks
- Experience in organizing committee meetings or municipal constitutional matters is preferred
- Proven track record of independent organizational and coordination work
