As an Accounting Manager at HomeServe, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of a growing international group dedicated to the energy transition. Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB standards, supporting the Head of Accounting in building department processes, and providing expert advice to local business centers on accounting and tax matters. You will act as a key liaison between managing directors, tax advisors, and the UK-based parent company, ensuring seamless reporting and cash flow management. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Business Administration or Economics; ideally qualified as a Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) or Auditor (Wirtschaftsprüfer).

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting and financial statement preparation
  • Professional experience in consolidation is highly preferred
  • Experience in auditing (Wirtschaftsprüfung) is an advantage
  • Proven experience in HGB accounting and tax regulations
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration with managing directors and external advisors
