Job Summary
As the IT Infrastructure Team Lead at SUSPA, you will serve as the architect of the company's digital future, taking full end-to-end ownership of a global hybrid infrastructure. Based in Altdorf, you will lead and inspire a local team both disciplinarily and technically, while providing functional guidance to the global IT team. Your daily responsibilities involve designing and operating modern architecture standards with a focus on 'security-by-design,' automation, and scalability. You will spearhead the transition from on-premise mindsets to cloud-centric operations, specifically managing Azure environments, Entra ID migrations, and next-generation data center designs. This role is unique because it offers significant strategic influence, allowing you to shape the global IT roadmap and modernize virtualization and network landscapes (WAN, LAN, WiFi) for a production-oriented international business. It is an ideal position for a proactive leader who balances technical excellence with a hands-on mentality.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in IT (Computer Science) or a comparable vocational training/qualification.
Experience
- Initial leadership experience or project management experience within an IT environment
- Deep technical experience in Azure and on-premise infrastructure
- Proven experience in the design, migration, and operation of modern Azure environments
- Experience working in international environments and collaborating with production-related IT services
- Professional experience in managing global network infrastructures and data center designs
