Job Summary

As a Measurement Technician, you will serve as the central point of contact for all departments regarding the application and procurement of testing equipment. Your daily responsibilities include organizing and monitoring external calibration services, ensuring the correct labeling of all measurement tools, and maintaining documentation within a dedicated database. You will develop calibration standards based on current regulations, perform regular inspections, and support internal and external audits. A key part of the role involves analyzing reports and statistics to identify optimization and cost-saving opportunities. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training (e.g., Measurement Technician, Cutting Machine Operator, Industrial Mechanic, or similar). Additional qualifications as a testing equipment officer are advantageous.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the metalworking industry
  • Professional experience in handling and managing testing equipment
  • Experience as a testing equipment officer (Prüfmittelbeauftragter) is highly preferred
  • Experience in conducting or supporting internal and external audits

Additional

  • Knowledge of DIN EN ISO 9001 requirements for monitoring measuring equipment is required. Ability to work on-site for department inspections and audits is necessary.
