Job Summary

As a Laboratory Assistant in the Food & Oral Care Product Development department, you will play a vital role in bringing innovative flavors and textures to life. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting the entire development process, from initial concepts to finished consumer products. You will manufacture end-product samples for customer projects, test new flavor profiles in various applications, and prepare professional internal tastings and customer presentations. Beyond hands-on production, you will manage flavor inventories, organize raw material orders in collaboration with procurement, and participate in sensory evaluations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in baking, confectionery, or laboratory science who enjoys practical work in a creative environment. The position offers a unique opportunity to transition from a temporary assignment into a permanent role, featuring a competitive salary range of €30,000 to €45,000, 30 days of annual leave, and flexible working hours within a supportive team focused on continuous professional development.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Pastry Chef, Baker, Chemical Laboratory Assistant, Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), Pharmaceutical Commercial Assistant (PKA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or Chemical Technician.

Experience

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in the application of bakery and confectionery products is preferred
  • Practical experience in a laboratory environment
  • Experience in manufacturing food samples and conducting sensory tastings
  • Professional background in independent task management and team collaboration
