Job Summary
As a Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in designing and calculating complex building and room automation solutions. Your daily responsibilities include developing technical concepts tailored to specific customer requirements, dimensioning automation systems, and selecting field devices. You will analyze technical documents such as circuit diagrams and automation schemes to ensure economically and technically sound system architectures. A key part of the role involves collaborating with subcontractors, obtaining and comparing quotes from cabinet builders and installers, and acting as a central interface between sales, procurement, and project management. This position is particularly attractive due to its blend of technical design and strategic consulting, offering a high degree of autonomy, flexible mobile working options (2-3 days per week), and access to a global technology portfolio within the Smart Infrastructure sector. Required Skills
Education
Technical training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial or Automation Engineering with further qualification as a Technician, or a Bachelor's degree in Building Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Technology.
Experience
- Several years of relevant professional experience in building automation or electrical engineering
- Proven experience in planning, project design, or commissioning of building automation systems
- Experience in interpreting technical documentation including circuit diagrams and automation schemes
- Professional experience in coordinating with subcontractors and external partners
- Experience in technical consulting and supporting sales processes
