Job Summary

This role involves joining HENSOLDT Sensors in Immenstaad to drive the development of high-end mission systems. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for deriving and designing system architectures, translating complex customer requirements into technical concepts such as Epics and User Stories. Your day-to-day activities will include system-wide error analysis, troubleshooting, and the installation and maintenance of Windows server and client landscapes in both physical and virtual environments. A significant focus of the position is the automation of infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Desired State Configuration (DSC), and scripting languages like PowerShell, alongside container technologies like Docker. This position is unique for its integration of high-level architectural design with hands-on automation and security implementation. The role is offered through a 'temp-to-perm' model, providing a clear path to permanent employment with a leading defense and electronics firm.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in system and software development
