Job Summary

As a ServiceNow Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for the high availability and performance of a self-hosted ServiceNow platform for one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers. Your day-to-day activities involve installing, configuring, and managing the system architecture across development, testing, and production environments. You will play a critical role in release management, ensuring that new content is deployed smoothly while maintaining the underlying Oracle and Unix-based infrastructure. Beyond routine maintenance, you will provide 3rd-level support, monitor system health using tools like Splunk or Grafana, and proactively develop strategies to optimize platform stability. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Experience with database technologies such as Oracle or PostgreSQL is preferred
  • Experience with scripting languages including Shell or JavaScript is an advantage
