Job Summary
This part-time role involves supporting a monitoring program for cereal diseases through critical laboratory and field activities. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing grain plant samples and conducting visual inspections to identify leaf and foot diseases using both the naked eye and binocular microscopes. The position requires working 6-12 hours per week, primarily on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with occasional field sampling support. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in plant pathology and a strong visual memory. You will benefit from comprehensive training and a collaborative team environment.
