Job Summary
As an International Service Technician at Big Dutchman, you will play a critical role in the global deployment and maintenance of high-tech livestock management systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the commissioning, maintenance, and modernization of complex stable systems, including proprietary network, control, and regulation technology. You will act as a technical expert on-site, performing electrical and mechanical repairs while ensuring customers are properly trained in system operation. A significant portion of this role involves traveling to over 100 countries to support sustainable farming practices. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy global mobility and hands-on problem-solving. You will also be responsible for training internal and external technicians worldwide, making this a highly impactful role within the organization. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Plant Mechanic, or a similar technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electronics, mechatronics, or plant mechanics
- Experience in commissioning and servicing technical systems
- Experience with computer, control, and regulation systems preferred
- Experience in conducting technical training for internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in performing electrical and mechanical repairs
