Job Summary
This role involves the technical and legal supervision of 'Safe Servers' for the Joint Gambling Authority of the German Federal States (GGL) in Halle (Saale). As a Case Officer, you will ensure that online gambling providers comply with strict regulations by monitoring data communication between their servers and evaluation systems. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing provider certificates, conducting connection tests, and evaluating data reports for technical or legal violations. You will bridge the gap between legal requirements and technical implementation, documenting findings and proposing measures for internal and external stakeholders. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Public Administration, Administrative Economics, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), 1st State Examination in Law, or completion of the Administrative Specialist Course II (Angestelltenlehrgang II).
Experience
- Professional experience in public administration, administrative economics, or legal services
- Experience in applying legal foundations to technical processes
- Proven experience in data evaluation and documentation
- At least one year of professional experience in a role equivalent to general administrative service (required for candidates with 1st State Examination in Law)
