This role involves managing the full lifecycle of student administration at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS) at the Sankt Augustin campus. As a Student Services Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the application and admission processes for both Bachelor's and Master's programs, specifically handling applicants with German educational qualifications. Your daily tasks include advising prospective and current students on enrollment, re-registration, semester fees, and leaves of absence. You will also make critical decisions on enrollment applications and maintain the department's web presence. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of administrative precision and intercultural communication. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Management Assistant in Public Administration (Verwaltungsfachangestellte:r), a Bachelor of Laws (Public Administration), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration, preferably within a higher education setting
  • Experience in managing application and admission procedures for academic programs
  • Experience in providing advisory services to students and applicants
  • Demonstrated experience working with legal frameworks and regulations
  • Experience working in intercultural contexts

  • Fixed-term contract for 2 years starting April 1, 2026. Location: Sankt Augustin campus. Position is full-time but suitable for part-time. Salary based on TV-L E9a.
