As an IT Application Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical support and continuous development of the hospital's Clinical Information System (CIS), with a specific focus on the ORBIS platform. Your daily activities will involve analyzing clinical and administrative workflows to map them effectively within the system, performing module customizing, and providing 2nd-level support to medical, nursing, and administrative staff. You will act as a bridge between technical departments and healthcare professionals, coordinating manufacturer tickets and ensuring quality through rigorous testing during release cycles. Required Skills
Education
Completed IT vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) for System Integration or Application Development, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in application support or software environments
- Experience in managing complex specialized software applications
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector or with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) is highly preferred
- Experience in coordinating with external software vendors and manufacturers
- Practical knowledge of clinical or administrative hospital workflows
