Job Summary
As a Sales Engineer specializing in electrical engineering, you will serve as the primary driver for business success by bridging the gap between complex technical solutions and customer needs. Your daily responsibilities include leading sales activities for plant construction and HOAI planning, identifying specific client requirements, and collaborating with planning teams to develop customized technical proposals. You will manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial contact and technical clarification to contract negotiation and ongoing account management. This role is unique because it combines high-level engineering in critical infrastructure and automation with strategic market analysis. You will be part of a supportive team working on future-relevant projects, ensuring that technical innovations are effectively translated into commercial success while maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or a university degree in the field of Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in sales within an electrical engineering field such as automation, power engineering, or plant construction
- Proven track record in technical clarification and the creation of individual customer offers
- Experience in managing relationships with technical and commercial decision-makers
- Practical experience using ERP and CRM software tools
- Experience in contract negotiations and project support
