Job Summary
As the Head of Technical Planning, you will lead the 'Anlagendesign' department, which serves as the technical heart of a leading EPC provider specializing in commercial photovoltaic systems. You will be responsible for the disciplinary and professional leadership of a technical team, overseeing the complete technical design of commercial PV rooftop systems (AC/DC), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and charging infrastructure. Your daily activities include ensuring compliance with VDE standards, conducting quality controls at construction sites across Germany, and standardizing technical processes. Working closely with executive management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's strategic direction and technical quality standards. This position is ideal for a seasoned electrical professional looking for a high-impact leadership role with significant creative freedom and direct influence on the energy transition within the commercial sector.
Required Skills
Education
Completed qualification in electrical engineering (e.g., Electrical Engineer, Electrical Technician, Master Electrician, or equivalent).
Experience
- At least 15 years of professional experience in permanent employment
- Extensive experience in AC/DC design, protection technology, and grid connection concepts
- Proven leadership experience or clearly recognizable leadership ambition
- Professional experience in technical building services (TGA) or electrical engineering
- Experience in managing technical projects from planning to commissioning
