Job Summary
As an IT Systems Administrator at Kotzenberg Textilservice GmbH, you will be responsible for the administration, operation, and continuous development of a diverse client, server, and network infrastructure. Your daily tasks include managing Windows, Linux, and IBM i/iSeries systems, overseeing virtualization via Azure Stack HCI, and ensuring high availability and IT security within a Microsoft 365 environment. You will lead IT projects with a focus on innovation, perform troubleshooting, and act as a key contact for users. The role involves managing cloud infrastructure through Azure Entra ID and Intune, as well as maintaining cybersecurity through vulnerability management with Microsoft Defender. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable IT qualification; career changers with relevant professional experience are also considered.
Experience
- Professional experience in system administration, network technology, or software development
- Proven experience in administering Microsoft server and client operating systems
- Practical experience in IT security, cybersecurity, and patch management
- Foundational experience in network infrastructure including routing, switching, and segmentation
- Experience in managing relational databases and virtualization solutions
