Job Summary

As a Senior Expert in Cryptography and Secure Digital Identities at AUTHADA, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of research, development, and product strategy. Based in Darmstadt with hybrid options, you will design and evaluate cryptographic protocols and drive the development of security-critical components, particularly focusing on Secure Elements and trusted hardware. A major part of your role involves leading a high-profile innovation project in collaboration with international industrial partners. You will represent the company in national and international standardization bodies, contribute to technical publications, and present complex findings to diverse stakeholders. This position offers the chance to shape the future of digital identification, such as eID and EUDI Wallets, within a growing team of 30 professionals. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable technical discipline.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT security, software security, and cryptography
  • Proven track record in leading research or industrial projects within the cybersecurity sector
  • Experience in the design and evaluation of security-critical components and cryptographic protocols
  • Experience with Secure Elements or hardware-near security environments
  • Previous participation in national or international standardization committees is highly preferred
  • Experience in technical reporting and presenting complex results to stakeholders
