Job Summary
As a Field Service Engineer for Edwards, part of the Atlas Copco Group, you will play a critical role in supporting high-tech industries such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and research. Your daily responsibilities involve the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced vacuum technology systems. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, performing complex fault analysis and ensuring systems run at peak reliability. This remote-based role requires frequent travel to client sites across Germany and occasionally within Europe, where you will also provide technical training to customers. Required Skills
Education
Technical vocational training or a degree in the field of Mechanics, Electromechanics, or Electronics.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in field service
- Experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of technical systems
- Proven track record in technical problem-solving and fault analysis
- Experience in customer-facing roles and technical training
