Job Summary
As an IT Consultant and Senior Software Developer at AlphaInsights, you will play a pivotal role in digitizing medium-sized manufacturing companies. Your daily responsibilities include collaborating with consultants to design functional concepts based on customer requirements, developing and testing new software applications within the Proalpha ERP environment, and programming interfaces to third-party systems. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a comparable field of study; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for Application Development (Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung).
Experience
- Professional experience in software development using modern programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Progress-ABL
- Experience with relational database systems
- Proven experience in the technical conception and development of software functions
- Experience in programming interfaces to third-party systems
- Professional background in IT consulting or ERP implementation is preferred
