Job Summary
This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support the IT department of the Mammography Cooperation Community in Berlin, an organization dedicated to breast cancer screening coordination across Germany. As an IT Assistant, you will be responsible for the day-to-day network administration and IT support for internal staff. Your primary duties include providing first and second-level hardware and software support, maintaining local server infrastructure, and managing Windows clients and Office 365 environments. You will also handle user rights management and contribute to IT security measures and documentation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and interacting with users in a professional setting. The role is unique for its flexible part-time structure (20 hours per week) and its location in the heart of Berlin, offering a stable, permanent contract with a small, collaborative team and the possibility of mobile work.
Required Skills
Education
Relevant vocational training or a degree in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- Practical experience in IT administration or IT support
- Proven experience working with PC hardware and Windows operating systems
- Experience managing Office 365 environments
- Foundational knowledge of network components including routers, firewalls, and VPNs
- Experience in independent, solution-oriented troubleshooting and user support
