Job Summary
As an ALM/PLM IT Solution Consultant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients in Germany, guiding projects from the initial bidding phase through requirements gathering to final implementation. You will act as a vital bridge between customers and international delivery teams, primarily based in India, translating complex business needs into technical tasks. Your daily responsibilities include supporting the sales process through technical presentations, optimizing ALM/PLM toolchains, and providing on-site support during critical project phases. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of strategic consulting and operational tasks within the automotive, rail, or smart industry sectors. Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in ALM/PLM application support, migration, or implementation
- Deep expertise in at least one leading ALM/PLM system (e.g., Dassault, Siemens, IBM, Jama, PTC)
- Experience working with international teams, specifically offshore delivery models
- Proven track record in structuring and presenting complex customer requirements
- Experience in the sales process including bid and proposal phases
