Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Communication Technology at DB InfraGO AG in Hamburg, you will independently manage high-quality communication technology projects, including those in related areas. Your responsibilities will include meticulous planning of timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure contract-compliant execution, collaborating with requirements management for effort estimations, and overseeing all project stakeholders to maintain adherence to guidelines. You will serve as the primary contact for all project participants, representing project assignments externally to internal and external clients. This role involves coordinating project teams, facilitating smooth communication through regular meetings, handling change order management, and providing commercial reports for project reporting. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background and excellent project management skills, offering the chance to contribute to Germany's critical infrastructure.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications/Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications or Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable field. Alternatively, a degree in Business Administration with additional communication technology qualifications, or successful completion of a project management training at a recognized institute/academy with additional communication technology qualifications in electrical engineering, telecommunications, or computer science.

Experience

  • Initial experience with project management tools and methods
  • Initial experience with planning, award, and contract law (HOAI)
  • Preferred experience in a telecommunications project or comparable projects

Languages

German (Fluent)
