Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in the realization of substations and network nodes, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing Berlin's 36,000-kilometer power grid. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve acting as a construction supervisor and technical coordinator for complex electrotechnical projects. You will oversee on-site progress, ensure quality and safety standards, and manage interfaces between internal departments and external contractors. The role covers everything from technical inventory and site management to final commissioning and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Experience with 110-kV/10-kV systems, auxiliary power supplies, and grounding
  • Experience in managing complex multi-disciplinary projects, ideally involving substations or network nodes
  • Experience in technical commissioning and acceptance processes
