This part-time (65%) research position at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg involves contributing to the 'LäKoSA' project, focused on establishing a representative cohort for medical care in northern Saxony-Anhalt. As a Research Associate, you will manage semi-annual survey waves, communicate with external authorities, and program online questionnaires using LimeSurvey. A significant portion of the role involves data validation, processing, and the statistical analysis of survey data regarding healthcare utilization and access barriers. You will also explore the linkage of primary and routine data, author scientific publications, and disseminate research findings. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master's or equivalent, Doctorate preferred) in Epidemiology, Public Health, Sociology, Psychology, or Health Promotion with a focus on quantitative research.

Experience

  • Professional experience in quantitative-epidemiological research and methodology
  • Experience in scientific project management is desirable
  • Proven experience in data processing and statistical evaluation using R, SAS, or STATA
  • Experience in creating scientific publications and disseminating research results
