Job Summary

As a Materials Tester based in Essen, you will be responsible for conducting critical non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures to ensure the integrity of industrial components. Your day-to-day activities will primarily focus on Magnetic Particle Testing (MT2) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT2), with the potential to perform Visual Testing (VT2) as well. This role requires a high degree of independence and a structured, goal-oriented approach to technical documentation and quality assurance. The position is particularly attractive due to its competitive hourly wage starting at €22.00, significant shift premiums, and the potential for permanent takeover by the client company. Required Skills

Education

Certifications in MT, UT, and VT (Level 1 or 2) according to DIN EN ISO 9712 are required/highly desirable.

Experience

Professional experience in non-destructive materials testing (ZfP)
Experience in MT2 and UT2 testing procedures is required
Experience in VT2 testing procedures is preferred
Practical experience in crane operation and load attachment is desirable
Experience working in a multi-shift or continuous shift environment

Must be willing to work in a 3-shift or continuous shift system (Kontischicht). Valid NDT certifications according to ISO 9712 are required. Crane operator license (Kranschein) is preferred.
