Job Summary

As a Laboratory Technician in Clinical Biobanking, you will play a crucial role in managing human biological samples. Your daily tasks will involve the independent processing, administration, aliquoting, pooling, and labeling of various human samples like blood, urine, and CSF, utilizing LIMS (Limfinity) for precise tracking. You will also be responsible for coordinating sample and material logistics with internal and external partners. This position involves supporting the daily operations of the biobank, including sample storage at -80°C and managing the -20°C storage. Additionally, you will prepare sample kits for studies, coordinate with study centers, and contribute to process improvements and the relocation to a new R&D building. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in biological or medical fields who is meticulous, organized, and eager to contribute to clinical research.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training in a biological-technical field (e.g., Biology/Chemistry Laboratory Technician, BTA, CTA) or comparable qualification; alternatively, medical training (e.g., Health Care Professional, MFA) with relevant laboratory experience

Experience

  • Practical laboratory experience, especially in the safe handling of pipettes
  • Willingness to work with human material (e.g., blood, serum, plasma, urine)
  • High diligence in handling samples
