Job Summary

This role involves leading the technical facilities, building equipment, and electrical engineering department at the Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for the professional and organizational management of the division, ensuring the operational readiness and safety of all systems in compliance with legal and aviation-specific regulations such as EASA and ICAO. Your day-to-day will involve leading and developing a team of professionals, managing budgets for investments and maintenance, and establishing cross-site standards. You will also serve as the Responsible Qualified Electrician (VEFK) and oversee project planning, maintenance services, and emergency management. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to work in a high-stakes, dynamic infrastructure environment. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a technical qualification as a certified Electrical Technician.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in project and process management
  • Proven experience with building regulations, VOB, and HOAI
  • Practical experience in technical operator responsibility and electrical safety
