Job Summary
As the Head of Property and Facilities Management for the city of Bad Dürrheim, you will lead a dedicated team of three staff members while overseeing personnel responsibility for municipal cleaning staff and caretakers. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the strategic planning and coordination of real estate transactions, including the purchase, sale, and exchange of city-owned land. You will play a pivotal role in urban development by coordinating the marketing of new commercial and residential areas and supporting economic development through effective land management. Additionally, you will oversee building maintenance, energy management, and rental agreements in collaboration with the construction administration. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Public Management (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt / Bachelor of Arts), Administrative Specialist with Qualification II, or a university degree in Law or Real Estate Management.
Experience
- Professional experience in municipal real estate or the commercial real estate industry
- Leadership experience required to manage departmental staff, cleaning personnel, and caretakers
- Experience in handling real estate transactions and contract preparation
- Experience in public administration is highly desirable
- Proven experience in rental and lease management
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and independent project management
