Job Summary
As an IT Systems Administrator, you will take full responsibility for the IT infrastructure of a modern tax consultancy firm, supporting approximately 70 users across multiple locations. Your daily activities will involve managing Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments, while ensuring system availability through proactive monitoring, updates, and backups. A significant part of the role involves virtualization using Hyper-V or VMware and the technical optimization of the existing system landscape. You will not just maintain systems but actively shape the future IT strategy in collaboration with an external IT service provider. This position is particularly attractive for professionals who enjoy high levels of autonomy and want to work in a digital-first environment with flat hierarchies. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT administration or system administration
- Practical experience with Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience in virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware
- Experience in managing IT security, updates, and backup systems
- Prior experience with DATEV software environments is preferred
