As an Optical Transmission Technician specializing in DWDM, you will be responsible for the commissioning, expansion, and operation of high-performance xWDM systems within nationwide transport and backbone networks. Your daily activities involve the configuration of multiplexers, transponders, and line cards, alongside performing critical technical measurements such as OSNR, spectral analysis, and RFC tests to ensure optimal signal quality. You will play a vital role in network migrations, hardware swaps, and the formal handover of systems into regular operation.
