Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Service Technician specializing in the maintenance and repair of large components within wind energy turbines. Working as part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for the exchange and repair of major components, often collaborating with larger teams and external service providers like crane operators. Your daily tasks will include performing complex repair and replacement operations, implementing modifications to enhance turbine performance, and meticulously documenting all work using modern digital devices. Required Skills
Education
Recognized vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Metalworking, Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, or Building and Supply Technology. Cross-entry possible with commitment to internal Vestas qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, metalworking, mechanical and automotive engineering, or building and supply technology
- Ability to work independently on and document technical reports
- Willingness to travel nationally
