Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position with the City of Langenfeld involves managing a 420 km sewer network. As an Urban Water Management Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end project management of maintenance and renovation measures within the public sewer system. Your daily tasks include developing sewer renovation concepts, assessing the condition of the network, and overseeing underground rehabilitation projects for sewers and shafts. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, allowing you to manage projects from the planning phase through to completion. The position is attractive due to its flexible working hours, the possibility of mobile work (up to 15 hours per week), and a collaborative team environment. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering with a focus on Urban Water Management, or Environmental Engineering. Alternatively, a qualification as a Wastewater Master or State-Certified Technician in Construction Technology with relevant experience.
