Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive management and oversight of microtunnelling and pipe jacking projects across Germany. As a Project or Site Manager, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and execution to final acceptance and closure. Your daily activities will include steering costs, schedules, and quality standards while coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, and engineering firms, ensuring that all technical and economic requirements are met. The position is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of site-based leadership and strategic project management. This role is particularly attractive due to its high level of autonomy, the provision of a company car for private use, and the opportunity to work for a major European infrastructure company with approximately 2,500 employees. Flexible working arrangements between the construction site and home office are supported.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Geotechnics) or a technical vocational training with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in tunnel construction, microtunnelling, or pipe jacking
- Proven experience in site or project management for infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- Demonstrated expertise in the planning, implementation, and steering of complex construction projects
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders

- Valid Class B driver's license required. High willingness to travel to construction sites throughout Germany is mandatory.
