This role offers a dynamic blend of field-based outdoor activities and office-based technical analysis. As an Environmental Engineer or Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of soil sampling projects, including planning, coordinating, and supervising field operations in accordance with German environmental regulations (LAGA PN98 and BBodSchV). Your day-to-day tasks involve evaluating geoscientific data, creating drilling and probing profiles, and drafting technical reports. You will also handle administrative duties such as service quoting and billing. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Environmental Sciences, Geosciences, Geography, or Engineering; alternatively, a technical vocational qualification in a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in contaminated sites, soil protection, or environmental technology preferred
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising field work
- Experience in creating drilling and probing profiles
- Practical experience with environmental laws, norms, and guidelines
- Experience in technical drawing and graphic creation for environmental reports
