Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive technical support and managing multimedia systems at a University of Applied Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and expansion of digital teaching technologies, including audio-visual systems, smart boards, and conferencing tools. Beyond media technology, the position covers general IT support tasks such as hardware deployment, standard software configuration, and IP telephony management. A unique aspect of this role is the involvement in event management, where you will provide technical implementation and on-site support for university functions. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training with an information technology or electrical engineering focus (e.g., IT Specialist, Electronics Technician, Media and Event Technician, or equivalent).
Experience
- Professional experience in information technology or electrical engineering
- Experience in setting up and operating audio, video, and multimedia systems (projectors, digital boards, conference tech)
- Experience in event support and technical implementation
- Experience in general IT support and application training
- Experience in project support and technical maintenance
