Job Summary
As an Environmental Protection Specialist at ERBACHER the food family, you will serve as the Environmental Management Officer, taking a central role in driving the company's environmental performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing operational environmental protection with a focus on immission control, water protection, and waste management. You will act as the primary liaison for authorities and external service providers while coordinating monitoring, sampling, and measurements. Additionally, you will manage hazardous substance documentation and maintain the legal compliance database. Required Skills
Education
Technical college degree (Fachschulausbildung) or university degree in Environmental Protection, Environmental Management, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable environmental protection role
- Practical operational experience in environmental protection, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment
- Proven experience in managing hazardous materials and substances
- Experience in coordinating with regulatory authorities and external service providers
