Job Summary
This role involves managing and optimizing the digital product catalog for Voltking, a fast-growing e-commerce startup specializing in electrical materials and smart home technology. As an IT Specialist for Product Data Management, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of product data, from initial entry in the ERP system to optimization for various online marketplaces and multi-channel platforms. Your day-to-day tasks include ensuring high data quality, preparing new products for sale, and assisting in the automation of data maintenance processes. This position is ideal for someone with a background in IT and a passion for e-commerce who enjoys working with large datasets. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable professional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in product data maintenance and optimization within an e-commerce environment
- Experience working with ERP systems, specifically JTL-Wawi is highly advantageous
- Proven track record of managing large volumes of data using spreadsheet tools
- Experience in preparing and launching products for online shops and digital marketplaces
- Background in the electrical, smart home, or technical retail sector is beneficial
