Job Summary
As an AI Consultant for Teacher Education, you will play a pivotal role in the 'KLEVER' project, a cross-university initiative focused on AI-supported teaching development. Your daily responsibilities include designing and implementing integration strategies for Large Language Models (LLMs) within existing educational technology infrastructures, specifically Moodle. You will actively develop an 'AI toolbox' for university teaching, selecting and evaluating AI-based solutions tailored to the specific requirements of teacher training. This role involves close collaboration with the Karlsruhe School of Education and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) to support faculty in integrating these innovative materials into their courses. This position is ideal for someone passionate about the intersection of technology and pedagogy, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital education in Germany. Required Skills
Education
Excellent university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Computer Science or Computer Science Education (Lehramt Informatik).
Experience
- Proven practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their integration into educational technology ecosystems
- Professional experience in the selection, testing, and evaluation of AI-based tools
- Experience working with Open-Source and local AI solutions is preferred
- Experience in an academic or teacher training environment is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in independent project work and collaborative team settings
