Job Summary
The Nuremberg State Construction Office is seeking an Electrical Engineering Project Manager to oversee building construction projects for the State of Bavaria and the Federal Republic of Germany. In this role, you will manage the entire project lifecycle (HOAI phases 1-9), focusing on power, telecommunications, and information technology systems. Your day-to-day involves planning and executing construction tasks for diverse facilities, including university buildings and military installations for US forces. You will collaborate in interdisciplinary teams with architects and mechanical engineers to ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and quality standards. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (University of Applied Sciences/FH) or a comparable field; alternatively, completed further training as a certified Electrical Technician.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical building equipment (TGA) is preferred
- Experience in project management of construction measures across planning and execution phases
- Experience in handling engineering and construction contracts
- Experience working within technical regulations and standards
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license is required for regular business trips within the district. Must be willing to undergo security-related coordination for military construction sites (US forces).
