Job Summary

This role involves performing critical quality control analysis for a family-owned pharmaceutical company located south of Darmstadt. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, your daily responsibilities will center on the release testing of finished medicinal products using a variety of analytical techniques, including Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), Kjeldahl nitrogen determination, Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), and titration. You will work strictly within a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring all tests comply with European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) standards. Beyond routine testing, you will be responsible for system suitability tests, equipment maintenance, stability testing, and the development or validation of analytical methods. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Experience

  • Professional experience in pharmaceutical or wet chemical analysis
  • Experience in performing AAS, Kjeldahl, TLC, and titration techniques
  • Experience working within a GMP-regulated environment
  • Experience in creating and updating SOPs and test instructions
  • Practical experience in equipment maintenance and requalification
