Job Summary
The City of Wermelskirchen is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to join its 10-person IT team, focusing on server and network infrastructure. This role involves designing, implementing, and operating the IT infrastructure for the city hall and various external locations like fire stations, schools, and kindergartens. A key responsibility is enhancing operational information security within the city's network. The engineer will also manage the installation and support of specialized applications, lead IT projects, coordinate external service providers, and create essential technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration
