Job Summary
As a Data Protection Support Specialist at BASF, you will play a pivotal role in the Corporate Legal, Compliance & Insurance unit, focusing on the operational orchestration of data protection programs. Your daily responsibilities involve managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Data Processing Agreements (DPA) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA), ensuring high-quality procurement intakes, and coordinating with global stakeholders. You will be the primary technical lead for OneTrust support, overseeing Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and managing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA). This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy cross-functional collaboration and technical privacy management. The role is particularly attractive due to its flexible working models, including the ability to work remotely from other EU countries for up to six weeks, a performance-based bonus structure, and 30 days of annual leave within a globally recognized industry leader.

Master's degree, ideally in Law
Experience
- Proven professional experience in data privacy and protection
- Demonstrated experience with controller/processor roles and technical/organizational measures
- Experience managing records of processing and data privacy lifecycles
- Practical experience using OneTrust or similar privacy management tools
- Experience in contract review and international stakeholder coordination
