This role involves the end-to-end development and implementation of industrial automation solutions for a diverse range of sectors, including the food industry, mechanical engineering, and offshore wind platforms. Based in Rostock with global project reach, you will be responsible for programming Siemens S7 controllers and designing visualization systems like WinCC or Ignition. Required Skills
Education
Degree or completed vocational training in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming specifically with Siemens S7-300/400 and/or S7-1500 systems
- Experience with industrial control systems and process/control technology
- Practical experience in visualization systems such as WinCC or Wonderware is preferred
- Experience in analyzing, diagnosing, and optimizing control system performance
- Proven track record of working in project-based environments including customer-site activities
