Job Summary
This full-time, permanent role based in Cologne involves overseeing the technical operations and maintenance of electricity stations and primary technology for RheinNetz GmbH. You will be responsible for coordinating construction supervision, planning replacement power supplies, and executing switching operations within the grid. The position requires a hands-on leader who can manage both internal teams and external service providers, ensuring all maintenance and repair measures meet strict safety and environmental standards. You will also handle technical documentation, budget monitoring via SAP-PM, and participate in on-call rotations. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of field-based technical decision-making and administrative coordination. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the maintenance and repair of Low Voltage (NS) and Medium Voltage (MS) networks
- Experience in coordinating measures and construction supervision for internal and external services
- Proven experience in performing switching operations and creating switching sequences
- Professional experience in personnel management, including qualification assessment and training
- Experience using specialized software including SAP-PM and network control systems

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Participation in the primary technology on-call standby rotation is mandatory. Must be based in or able to commute to Cologne.
