As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Specialist, you will play a critical role in quality assurance for mechanical engineering projects. Your daily responsibilities include performing visual and ultrasonic inspections on molded parts, as well as calibrating and operating specialized ultrasonic testing equipment. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate testing methods, evaluating results, and documenting findings within SAP to ensure full traceability and compliance with industry standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical vocational training in Materials Testing, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures
- Experience in the operation and calibration of ultrasonic testing equipment and software
- Proven track record in evaluating and documenting test results in SAP
- Experience in quality assurance and monitoring processes according to industry standards
- Practical experience in mechanical engineering or materials science environments
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license and willingness to use a private vehicle if required; NDT certifications (e.g., PT, MT, RT, VT) are preferred.
